Our Fall Family Session

I have a few session dates left for May.  What a great Mother's Day gift idea!  Last year my husband gifted me a family session for Mother's Day and I think it might be the best Mother's Day present I ever received.

For our Fall family portraits, I did them myself with help from my assistant Rhonda.  Here are just a few:

The girls:  (I got this one of the girls and one of the boys in a 16x16 canvas  for above our entry table)

 The boys:

This is a 24x36 canvas I have on a large easel in the living room:

A 16x24 canvas on a small wall in our master bedroom:

And I think this is just PRECIOUS:  Maybe I will do a 30x40 above the fireplace?  Haha!

Email me if you would like to talk about scheduling your family session at loriiveyphotography@gmail.com

Wow - seriously?  It's MARCH!?  It seems like I was just making well intentioned resolutions to lead a healthier lifestyle and become more organized while ringing in the new year.  So, at this point our resolutions are long forgotten and I don't know about you - but I'm dying to bust out some flip flops!

I've always loved Spring.  It seems so fresh and promising.  And those dang Reese's eggs sure don't hurt either.  The ratio of peanut butter to chocolate on those suckers are perfection.

And this family session from the Fall is just perfect with all of this talk of Spring.  I remember joking with this seriously adorable red head when I stuck her in a patch of green that she was just like a cute bunny hiding in the grass!  Check it out and see for yourself - cute overload!

This session from the Fall was just so much fun for me!  Besides getting to photograph these great looking people, it also meant getting to see faces I had not seen in YEARS.  When my very best friend from childhood contacted me about an extended family session I did a little happy dance.

Their house was my second home.  I even had a cup with my nickname on it: Lori Bigori.  There was always laughter, fun, sleepovers, chips and salsa, soccer practice, fort building, dance choreographing and everything a childhood friendship should have!  When we had to move the summer before 6th grade my heart broke into tiny pieces.

It was so great to see all of these faces - and all these children!  What a beautiful family to be a part of!  Thank you Jaimee for letting me capture these images for you all!

I'm going back to the Fall so I can begin showcasing some of my beautiful clients and their families that I was so privileged to work with this past year!  I loved this session!  The colors were so whimsical - and what personalities these two had.

And their Christmas card....it was seriously jaw-dropping gorgeous!
